Summer dress for apple shape?

Please help, I’ve spent so long shopping for summer holiday dresses getting nowhere, and feeling worse and worse about myself! Any ideas??

My boobs are too small for a 10, and my tummy’s too rounded for an 8! I’m like a small apple shape 😬 I’m 5ft5 with a petite bone structure, so when I stress eat ice cream it has no where to hide but my ‘4 months pregnant’ looking tummy - and post breastfeeding my 30C/32B boobs are like 2 sad, deflated balloons. Having said that, I am still only 35 and I just wanted to look nice for once!

Honestly I must have looked at most dresses on the internet and I’ve got my head in a right tizz about it. I’ve even wondered about a tummy tuck for a very brief moment. Thought vinted might be the answer so I got 3 bargain Reiss/Ted Baker dresses but they don’t fit and now I’m stuck with them, doh. I’m happy to spend a bit more if they’ll fit and last.

We’re heading to Eurocamp in France and later in the summer hopefully Greece so will need slightly smarter clothes for the evenings. Was thinking cool cotton strappy dresses, knee length…

Please can anyone make clothing suggestions, or how to deal with feeling crap about myself? Thanks ladies!

How about midi or maxi jersey maxi dresses in navy or black? Something with stretch that will also absorb the light.

Meant to add - then add jackets, jewellery scarves and whatever to make it more interesting.

As for feeling better, just do some real people watching. There's all sizes and shapes out there and most people don't seem too self conscious.
