Best product for slick back ponytail

I am looking for recommendations, as i have lots of wispy hair around my forehead but want to achieve a slick pony look. What do you use that is good and doesnt flake.

Eco gel, really good hold and shiny and it also brushes out easily once you take your hair down and doesn't flake or leave your hair sticky afterwards.
