A conditioning mascara- ideally cheap

I'm after something to wear on casual days. It doesn't have to make my lashes look longer or thick. Just not to smudge my eyeliner and I'd really like it to condition or make my eyelashes feel softer

Any suggestions would very gratefully received..

What about a lash serum instead, if you aren't worried about mascara benefits. Or you could start with a lash serum at night.

I considered it but I'd quick like one with a brush and can't seem to find one, one of the things I want is to wipe over my eyelashes with it as I use a powder on my eyes (prior to eyeliner) which makes them look a little (only tiny) bit white.

L’Oréal paradise is very conditioning but I have no idea of staying power yet!
