I've been using vaseline but it's not doing anything. What's you best lip salve?

Okeefes lip repair stick is the best. Make sure you buy the stick though not the pot!

Rainbow1612 · 11/07/2023 21:22

I've suffered with very dry chapped lips for as long as I can remember but a couple of years ago I started using Jack black Intense therapy lip balm.
It's amazing, my lips have completely changed and if I don't use it for a few days I can definitely see a difference.
I think it's aimed at men but I don't see why. It comes in a few different scents, I use the mint one. I love it!

Thanks.

Blistex intensive moisturiser in the white tube.

CJCreggsGoldfish · 11/07/2023 21:25

Another vote for Blistex intensive. My lips have been terrible this year and this has been the only balm to help them.

hairtodaygonetm · 11/07/2023 21:26

The Nivea cream in the blue pot is amazing for lips! Had to use in an emergency and realised it is completely tasteless and sinks into lips beautifully. Can be bought in a small handbag sized pot. Could be marketed, in better packaging, and 'for lips' for ten times the price.

I've just ordered an Okeefes stick I hope it works.

The first thing you need to do is exfoliate your lips and then find a balm for them. If you use a little bit of granulated sugar mixed with water on them and scrub off the dead skin cells first with a towel or facecloth and then slather with lipbalm it is much more effective.

BeginningToLookALotLike · 11/07/2023 21:31

Blistex intensive followed by a lip oil. I like Badger lip balm.

StrawberryPavlova · 11/07/2023 21:34

Original Chapstick. Used to be able to get them in pound shops etc but now I have to get them from Amazon.

alexdgr8 · 11/07/2023 21:39

non-flavoured chapstick.
i find the inclusion of camphor makes the difference.
most do not have this and they don't really work for me.

OneMoreCookieMonster · 11/07/2023 21:40

Lanolin nipple cream! I promise you it's life changing

BadAdvice · 11/07/2023 21:40

mamaduckbone · 12/07/2023 17:15

I love burts bees, the one with peppermint. It's natural and smells gorgeous. That's reminded me I've run out, must order more

tillytoodles1 · 21/07/2023 19:57

Update. I bought the Okeefes and it's amazing. My lips are a lot smoother after two days.

Eucerin Aquaphor- it's absolutely magic, slather my lips overnight and my dry cracked lips are healed by morning
