Cornwall style - how to nail it?

So I have lost a couple of stone since having a baby 2 years ago and I’d like to get a few new bits for the summer.

We are going on holiday to Cornwall the week after next and I’ve always loved the beachy look so I’m going to try and achieve it! But I haven’t been to Cornwall since pre baby and pre covid so I’m feeling very uninspired.

Could someone please tell me what people are wearing down there these days and where from? Im desperate to feel good and not frumpy like I usually do in my stained and ill fitting leggings 😃

Of course I will be taking the necessary fleece and waterproof jacket but it would be nice to have some other options!

I'm a Cornish exile but stubbornly clinging to my Cornish style - natural fibres, slubby colours, comfy. Also the latest treasure from Trago's 👌

Hope you and your little one have a lovely time at the beach. Why don't you just pick a few of your favourite clothes to take with you and then treat yourself to a few new beachy things whilst you're on holiday? That way you can see what you fancy there and they will remind you of your holiday when you get home. Happy holiday!!

You will feel good in Cornwall because you will be relaxed and happy and have a lovely healthy body to dress! Low key and not too much make up. Jeans or denim shorts, birkies or simple sandals, stripes and loose clothing not tight. Shorts and a floaty vest top or sheer linen shirt. Nothing too coordinated. Enjoy your new body!

This thread has made me chuckle. especially the non-brushed hair and layered purples. I haven't been to Trago for years. Devon is not stylish either.

Hey I love my poldhu beach bobble hat. That beach is very local to me and in the winter they are everywhere but it is the only woolly hat which actually fit my head. And it's so cosy

But due to timber mild wet winters don't wear it all that much

Cornwall style Just reverse the fuck up now and don't argue none special: Boiler suit tied at the middle with baler twine, Tragos Thinsulate beanie, steel toed wellies, length of plastic piping ,80 head of dairy cattle coming through here right now and not stopping for no one pard.
