Acquired some hyaluronic acid serum and moisturizer - how to use? Forgive me being complete naive

A friend gave me a bottle of this serum and a tub of this moisturizer

I don't have a skincare routine to speak of so I'm incredibly naive. Please be gentle with me. I wash my face twice a day with face wash, put on some Nivea soft at night and SPF50 in the morning. That's it.

But I want to try these products.
I read somewhere about not using acid products in the morning because they'll exfoliate your skin and then it'll get sun damaged.
So should I just be using these at night?

And should I use them together or will that be overkill?
If not using them together, how would you suggest alternating?

I have normal/combination skin, I think.

Despite the name, hyaluronic acid isn’t actually an acid it just helps to hydrate/moisturise your skin. It also supposedly gives a temporary plumping affect but I’ve never found that. Use the HA first then put your moisturiser on over the top which helps seal in the moisture in your skin.

Make sure you put hyaluronic acid on wet skin. It uses the moisture to plump up your skin and would cause dehydration if used on dry skin.
