Please help me find a dress!

I've got a wedding to attend soon, so I'm on the lookout for a nice summer wedding guest outfit, but I just can't find anything suitable 😭 Help!

Problem #1 - I'm 5ft tall (short!), midi dresses are usually maxi on me and/or the length makes me look frumpy and actually shorter.

Problem #2 - I'm about a size 16 (UK) and particularly blessed in the bosom department. Many dresses are just too small on the chest or gape open in an indecent manner. Or if I size up to accommodate the bust then they are baggy elsewhere.

I don't want to spend a fortune, ideally no more than £50 although would stretch a bit for the perfect dress!

Any ideas greatly appreciated :)

I am quite booby and hippy. I have the same issue as you where if a dress fits my boobs and hips, it doesn't fit my waist! I wear a lot of separates which helps. Usually something with a bit of stretch and no buttons on my top half and an a line skirt or wide trousers.

If you don't want to go down the separates route, I have had lots of success with v neck skater mini dresses

I had a Lady V dress for a wedding a few years back, it was a nice fit except it wasn't a great length! I should've had it taken up, would've been more comfortable in it.

this one is lovely. The blonde model was wearing it when I linked, now a thin nodel is wearing it, so not sure what happened there

Oasis Petite has a great selection of petite dresses.

@NOelle I actually tried that dress on in the shop recently. It was gorgeous but really pulls you in at the waist.

I like the way they have 2 different size/height models in the same dress.
