Getting very excited for our next box - due w/c 17th July!

I wish that I had screenshot it last night to look for changes. I wonder if they didn’t mean to release the contents yet? Or they saw the feedback and are changing it!

Hopefully the latter. I might change my mind if they change a couple of the hair products, the rollerball thing, the bracelet and the hair clips.

There are still YouTube videos out there with the 2023 contents (as was last night/this morning) for the Liberty Advent calander if anyone is interested. I don’t think it will change .These things take months of planning . I think they probably just released it too early there’s probably a big launch attached to it or something

I think that this is the 2023 version. It had a link to pre-order already, so guessing that it may have been early by accident.

Going back to the beauty drop- I am loving the ren cleanser, it seems to really suit my skin! I may be convinced to switch from my usual! Also the votary serum smells gorgeous!

I was initially excited about the AC bit now we'll be away all of December so there's little point in getting one. I do have a healthy balance on my account though and I'm hoping for another great GWP. Does anyone know when one might come?

Think I’ve seen “September” from past/other threads, @Pigtailsandall . But I’m a newbie to Liberty myself so not sure.

My update on the BD, I have accidentally fallen in love with the perfume sample after being so dismissive of it. It settles really beautifully on me and I get bakewell tart vibes that a pp mentioned. Loving the serum and cleanser, but I did give away the hair samples as too small for me to use even once. My 5 year old god daughter has got the benefit.

I've surprised myself by really liking the shampoo and conditioner. I'm always disappointed to receive shampoo as my scalp inevitably hates it but I've used this one two washes in a row and it seems to be suiting me really well. I did look on Vinted to see if I could snap up some more to give it a better test before buying big bottles but it's just such poor value for money once fees and posting are added on.

I like the shampoo too and my scalp is usually quite sensitive. I used to whole tube of conditioner as well which was obviously a bit too much but on the positive side my hair’s not frizzy! Despite saying I didn’t find the perfume Bakewell tarty, I now do. Is it possible that my first squirt had all the base notes in? 🤷‍♀️
The body cream is nice enough but quite a rich one ie harder to rub in and not getting much scent. Bath oil is fab - I thought 2 caps can’t do anything much but it’s very intense. I think that just leaves the mask and serum to try. I’ve got a serum stash that will last years at my current rate though.

I joined BD in order to get the Liberty advent calendar this year but having seen the contents I’m not sure I want it now. I’m sure there will be another AC that I’ll prefer. I’ll just have to spend my £240 for something else in Liberty.

There seems to have been a terrible mistake with the advent calendar. They’ve finally forgotten to put that vile coffee scrub in.

Perhaps they realised we’ve all got some by now…

Ha ha! I’ve got several of those in my out-of-control stash, but always knew just by looking at the packet that they weren’t something I’d enjoy. Don’t think I dislike anyone enough to give them away, p’raps I’ll just stick ‘em on the compost.

I'd joined to save for the advent calendar but it's not looking very exciting this year. Last year I did LiB and Liberty and if the Latest ij Beauty one is similar value to last year I'll go with that. I reckon I'll use my credit for the next GWP and maybe buy a big bottle of the Peony Couture perfume . I absolutely love it, I'd wear it every day and eked out my bottle from the calendar.

Have a missed a link to the advent calendar preview or something? I’m really not sure whether I can justify one this year, my product stash is quite high 😅

@Jellycats4life there was a preview posted but then it was swiftly removed so we don’t know if it was accurate or if it was released too early with the correct content by mistake and then withdrawn

What do we think about the SUNSET TO SLUMBER kit?

I won’t be buying. Yet another eye mask and votary serum! I’ve a feeling the Uoma mascara has made an appearance in another kit/box before as well. These boxes/kits/advents are getting a bit repetitive now…….

I thought that about the mascara. Was thinking the candle would make a solid gift for someone when trying to justify another washbag on the shelf.

Re Slumber kit - love the washbag, serum and candle, but the lipstick's too bright for me, I don't really use eyemasks and I've got enough mascaras, so will probably skip.

Slumber Kit not for me..The only things I want are candle and maybe washbag.

What on earth is the Face Halo for?

I've tried the Surratt Lid Lacquer which is in the latest set. It was in a previous Liberty AC and I thought it was terrible. It's a thin cream eyeshadow/gloss which didn't set so had poor longevity, creased and became messy.
