Where to buy clothes for skinny 10yr old boy?

Where do people buy clothes for their boys? Son is 10 and whilst not really that skinny he does have a small waist and everything looks baggy and hangs off him. He's still wearing 8-9 shorts as the waist fits nicely and the length doesn't really matter with shorts but 8-9 trousers would be ridiculous on him. We've generally bought h and m stuff in the past but he's not really liking it so much these days. Next and m and a is too big on the waist. Probably need online shops as there don't seem to be many suitable shops round by us so any suggestions welcome. Thanks

Usually H&M sorry! Next and John Lewis have some jeans/trousers with adjustable elasticated waists too. Go up to at least age 14 because I've not long bought some for ds2.

Zara boys. Some cuts are meant to be baggy but others are definitely slim.

Oh, I was going to say M&S and Next. I've just wrestled age 8-9 PJs off him! All his school uniform comes from M&S but they do have the elastic and button set up to tighten them.

Next and M&S mainly.
