Finally sorting out my wardrobe!

Inspired by a number of threads on here over time, and also by finally getting fed up of looking like a bag lady…. I am finally sorting out my wardrobe so I have clothes I like that fit (and hopefully flatter!) me and are suitable for my lifestyle. I went shopping last night, which I hate, but made a great start thanks to Ted Baker, the White Company and M&S! Still plenty to do, but am feeling like it’s a step in the right direction. Anyone else on a similar journey?

I need to do this, but I need to start on the bottom and get a bra that fits. I e only got M&S near me and was put off it by a previous thread.

I have to say, for clothing M&S was a disaster… but I got new pop socks and knickers there! Need new bras too but couldn’t be arsed with trying last night. I really hate shopping and was on a dedicated 3h trip to sort things out, and bras felt like too much effort!

If you are part of the John Lewis loyalty scheme Op you can take five ( in good condition pieces) and save a fiver on a £20 or £25 pound spend. It can be used with other offers like 15 percent off ( and you’d need to check but I imagine sale too).

Exciting venture, @IcarusFlies - but I have nothing to say about physical shops. Sad

Ahhh I hate internet shopping too! I hate all shopping! But I got a bonus at work and concluded it should go towards the humanitarian effort of making me look not-a-mess (yes, conscious not everyone is so lucky, especially these days…). Definitely feeling chirpier for having a) a few nice things now which I’m looking forward to wearing and b) got rid of stuff that’s old, bobbly, stretched, ripped…
