When I shave my legs I get little red dots afterwards. Not sure how to avoid this

I find that going with the direction of hair growth, mostly down the leg, reduces this issue, as does using a really creamy soap lather as a lubricant. This advice is tripley important when shaving pubic hair as its coarser and if not softened and lubed with soap will drag. Going against the grain in that area too causes the rash and even bleeding.

Ok so instead of shaving upwards I should only shave downwards ?
