Smart trainers/comfy shoes for older man

My Dad has been complaining about his sore feet. He wears shoes on the smarter side, and I think for his walks around the village and so on he needs something more comfortable and lightweight. However, I've never seen him wear trainers in his life. He tends to dress on the smarter side of smart/casual.

What shoes would be suitable for an older man who dresses smart/casual and need to be comfortable and supportive for feet? Any ideas appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I'd say Skechers. They do lots of styles that look like regular shoes but give great support

You could try Vionic, i find them very comfy snd supportive (I have had foot/leg/knee pain) they do mens smart looking shoes and trainers. Have Skechers too and they are good. But I think Vionic looks more smart.
