Levi's sizing

Help! I don't understand the jeans sizing!
I'm 10 stone, 5' 5', small waist, bigger hips. Can anyone tell me what size I'm likely to need? I typically wear a S10.

Levis sizing is random IME. Depends on the style as well an sometimes the wash too.go to a levis store if you can and try some on . Some levis shops do in store length alterations free of charge.

I'm a 5'9" pair shaped. I'm mostly a 28" waist occasionally a 27" and I've always found I had to size up to 29" for Levis.

I’m a 10/12 and most of mine are a 29 waist - I think 28 is 10, 30 12 and so on, then there’s a leg length. I’m 5ft 6 and usually get 30 leg but agree with pp about trying them if you can. I find black denim can come up smaller than blue even in the exact same jeans (I think it’s to do with the dyeing process).

I'm the same figures as you and I have 29inch mom jeans that fit well (I have narrow hips though), but the black ones are bigger than the blue despite being the same type of Jean and size?! You have to try them on.

Depends on style. I bought 502's in 32 and they didn't get close to going over my hips, returned and bought a different style in 33 which were huge!

The great thing about Levi’s is that they are t just sized in terms of size 8,10,12 ( or the equivalent) but they have the equivalent of size 9,11 and so on. I bought my cropped 501s from an outlet and they do have some stretch to them where as I don’t think the cropped 501s bought in a regular Levies store do. This might be worth your consideration.

For the best chance of getting the right fit, measure your waist. Then depending on the rise and material (how much stretch it's likely to have) you can choose the sizes around that.

Totally depends on the shape, I had to size down in a looser shape (and I hate tight jeans) but I bet I wouldn't in a skinny. This is why jeans shopping is such a challenge.

I'm a 10 and wear 28 waist. If you go to a Levi's store they'll check if they fit you.

New ones are sized much bigger imo. And the sizing of new ones can vary so much. It's probably best to try some on in a store.
