Lip lines (above mouth)

I don't mind ageing in terms of eye wrinkles and sagging in general. But the thing that makes me feel incredibly ugly is the lip lines I have above my mouth such that if I talk in certain ways it's pursed, like at the top of a curtain. They are both static and dynamic. I use vitamin c, retinol and my skin is good - I am 50. I don't have facials or anything though, only Botox on my forehead. Help! What can I do for the lip lines!

I don’t know but also want the answer! It’s so aging and looks awful.

I’m watching with interest. I’m 45 and have a few lip lines which I absolutely hate

My Botox lady (for 11’s) also puts a very little bit into the upper lip lines - it doesn’t eradicate them but softens them quite a bit. I’m 51 and only started Botox last yr, so no miracles but it definitely helps lessen them which is good enough. Feels a bit weird for a few days as it kicks in as it inhibits pursing your lips but not noticeable (even to husband who is eagle eyed that I don’t get the frozen look :)

My Botox lady ( 11's and crows feet ) is also one of my best friends and after discussing this with her she suggested 0.5 mil of lip filler in and around the border . Results were subtle and as an ex smoker definitely helped with the lines above top lip.

Filler has made mine much much better, I’m 52.
