I go on holiday next week and will be taking two high waisted, 1950s style bikinis (from For Luna, but Bettylicious do similar). I love these as they only show about an inch of stomach but feel less covered up than a one piece.

For cover ups I have a couple of old Seafolly kaftans and a One Hundred Stars throw over.

I've got 2 floppy sunhats in black and white. I need to get some kind of bikini/shorts combo and am eyeing up fatface as I always love their swimwear and accessories.

@LivingDeadGirlUK I spent a fortune on a big floppy hat (that I then ruined in the pool 🙈 last year ) but I've picked up to 2 lovely ones for a fiver each in Primark this year which I'm chuffed with!

Just googled One Hundred Stars @BangingOn their stuff is gorgeous 😍

Does anyone know if the One hundred stars kimono fit a size 16/8?

I've bought a tankini today from M and S. I nearly strangled myself getting into it until I realized that you pull it up like a swim suit ...not put it; n like a top 🤔

I'm debating ordering a swimsuit (previously braved it and wore bikinis but I'm a BIG 16 now, pushing 18)

However- I have massive boobs and usually need underwires. I really, really don't want to spend £££ on a wired cossie when I spent loads on bra top bikinis last year 🤔🤔

Asda have a lovely floral green cossie and matching cover up 👍🏿 Their navy striped beach towels are fab - wash beautifully too. 👍🏿☘️

I’m a similar size/shape and take a mixture of bikinis from Fantasie (bra size, underwires) plus a few swimsuits from Next. I get the tummy control ones in my usual dress size, and find they don’t constrict my tummy at all and are supportive enough for my GGs.

I think a proper underwired bravissimo type bikini is worth its weight in gold.

I don't take underwear on hot holidays, just use good bikinis.

Hi Op, those beach shirts are for sale on in every beach shop/ market stall near the beach. I'm just back from the Algarve, and they were there in every colour, in cotton (€15) and Linen(€25). As far as I could see, absolutely everyone wears bikinis, no matter what size, and they look great. They are so much more comfortable than swimsuits.
