Do I look better with or without a fringe ?!

Name change for this Obvs.

hair still not very thick after having children so tend to keep it in a bob , although would love longer hair.

I can never decide whether to have a fringe or not… I have a long face ( I think … oblong ?) and a high forehead …. A five head.

fringe would look better with longer hair I think so may try to grow it into a lob… I tend to wear it back with combs or clasps more when have a fringe.

Would love some objective opinions please !

Thanks :)

I think I am a lone voice. I dont like the fringe, you look younger prettier, softer with the side thing, the right hand side picture

Gytgyt · 02/07/2023 17:52

Different pictures so hard to compare. Based on the pics definitely with a fringe.

FarTooHotForMe · 02/07/2023 17:52

You look good with and without, I think you’d also sort a longer fringe.
Sorry I’m no help.

garfieldeatscake · 02/07/2023 17:57

Fringe. I'm normally not keen on fringes as I think they can give a very austere appearance, but in your case, it's the opposite and softens your features.
You're stunning btw, and to be honest you'd look lovely with however you style your hair.

Runnerduck34 · 02/07/2023 17:57

With a fringe.
Although you look nice without a fringe too but I think a fringe suits you better

Jongleterre · 02/07/2023 17:59

With a fringe. Your beautiful eyes really stand out with a fringe as the fringe frames them and makes them the focal point of your lovely face.

Without a fringe your features get lost.

RuthW · 02/07/2023 18:07

Much better without

FringeOrNo · 02/07/2023 18:09

Thank you for all the responses ! (And unexpected compliments). It’s very on the fence … so I do feel somewhat indicated in my indecision!

I'd say fringe for daytime and side part for evening a both suit you well

VariantHela · 02/07/2023 18:10

With

airmaxJ · 02/07/2023 18:11

And yes I'm the same I do fringe for daytime and side up for evening much similar to you
, I'm always trying to change up my style but never managed it yet lol

SunnyEgg · 02/07/2023 18:12

Much prefer without

greenisinthemean · 02/07/2023 18:13

I like without best :)

You look like an actress OP!

Superdupes · 02/07/2023 18:14

I think you look better with the fringe, but younger without it (probably because without is a more studenty look IMO and with it looks more grown up and professional). Although maybe the makeup is influencing that too.

WeAreTheHeroes · 02/07/2023 18:16

I think you look better without the fringe, but there are fringes and fringes - that's quite a blunt one. You remind me of Keeley Hawes, though younger. She often has shorter hair and the kinds of styles she has would suit you too.

UncleRadley · 02/07/2023 18:18

You're beautiful either way, so it doesn't really matter. But if I had to vote I would vote without.

Tomateen · 02/07/2023 18:19

Both look great. You have beautiful eyes.

Snippit · 02/07/2023 18:20

Definitely full fringe, you look younger. I have a fringe on my face and clip it up for maintenance or use dry shampoo, it works wonders, 😬

poorbird · 02/07/2023 18:21

both suit you but the fringe really suits you, not a lot of people can pull that kind of fringe off and it looks absolutely brilliant on you, makes you stand out in the best way. X

LadyLardy · 02/07/2023 18:23

I'm not caught in a loop of with/without - I've always, always had a fringe because I think my face is long and looks dreadful without one.

BUT...I've spent years straightening my hair and have now (finally) embraced my natural curls and have grown my fringe out. I'm still anxious that I don't look right without a fringe - but honestly a fringe with MY curls made me look dreadful. And I couldn't work out what to do with it.

I am due at the hairdressers in a couple of weeks, however, and am genuinely debating whether to get a fringe cut in! I feel your dilemma...

Carrotcake93 · 02/07/2023 18:28

You're beautiful in both, but I would say without!

JeminaSunshine · 02/07/2023 18:28

100% without

ChittyBangabang · 02/07/2023 18:30

More sophisticated without

Arewehumanorarewecupboards · 02/07/2023 18:31

is anyone else caught a in a constant fringe-no fringe loop?!

Yes

Lostmum2407 · 02/07/2023 18:32

You look lovely both ways but I think the fringe gives you a more modern look.
