Has Simple Soap suddenly got a dip in it?

I've bought a couple of 4-packs of Simple Soap and every one has a curved dip in the centre. Is this a new thing, designed to make it easier to twirl round in your hand? Or have I got a dodgy batch?

i have bought a couple of packs recently and they have all had the same dip. i assumed it was a way of using less product but keeping the price the same.
