Ashy brown / greyish box dye

I'm growing out my hair after years of box dye dark brown. The greys are getting really noticeable and I'm not 100% sure if I'm ready to go the whole way yet.

What I want to do is grow it out as much as I can, then get it cut and dye it again but an ashy brown / mushroom brown / greyish colour to blend it out. Salons are expensive but might have to be my go to.

Does anyone know of any ashy box dyes that would suit?

Am wondering if Bleach 'Fade to grey shampoo, conditioner and toner would work?

Honestly OP I would recommend going to a colourist in a salon to get what you actually want.
Box dyes are notoriously tricky, and from the pictures you have shown you would need a spattering of highlights when are then toned greyish afterwards. Not something that's easy to do at home.
