Can you please recommend me a place where I can look at swim shorts for my teen?

This year my DD (14) wants swim shorts instead of a swim suit. Fine.

I can't see any in the shops. I need to look at them as she's small. I've checked Marks, Next but am prepared to travel a bit to find some.

I know there are boy leg competitive swimsuits by Slazenger and Speedo and am open to them but has anyone seen any beach style ones?

Also, I'm afraid they'll balloon up in the water and gape.

I thought there'd be more about but is this a wild goose chase?

Are their any brands that you'd recommend?

I wear swim shorts a lot - they won't gape unless she wears oversized ones?

Or go the bike short style ones, I'm sure speedo do them. Called jammers sometimes.

I often wear these, but I’m an adult. I would call them board shorts. If they are too long they do drag and balloon in water, but not the shorter ones.
If you want to buy them in a store try surf or dive shops. Brands like Animal, O’Neill etc. You can also usually find some in shops like Trespass or Mountain Warehouse.

Yeah, I thought surf shops might have them. Not remotely near any unfortunately. I could see what the returns are like I suppose and maybe order a few in.
