Fallen for a bag

I've never spent money on a fancy handbag but I was walking through a department store and saw the bright yellow mulberry small anthony bag. Love at first sight! But, am I delusional? Is it a man's bag? Not that I really care about that, just curious. Would I regret a bold colour over something more practical or subdued? Are mulberry bags worth it?

Can you afford it?

DogDaysNeverEnd · 02/07/2023 07:32

Yes. It's not the sort of thing I would usually buy though so it feels like a big purchase. Don't want buyers remorse!

I've got a small anthony in pale blue. I wear it a lot and it's super practical. It's a lovely bag and yellow sounds really nice.

Oooh.
I do not have posh bags, but I aspire to an Anthony bag. I also love a bright bag, as my wardrobe is largely navy/grey.

Unless you'll starve or make yourself homeless, I'd get it!

I’ve got a black Anthony - must be 10 years old now and probably my most used bag. If you love it and can easily afford it buy it!

My dh bought me a mulberry bag for a big birthday and I love it. I use it daily and it still looks and feels brand new.

Bright colours are lovely, but would it look odd using it in the winter? I chose Oxblood so I could use it as an every day handbag.

If you can afford it then go for it. There's a good second hand market for mulberry so if you get bored you can always sell it on
