Cotton NOT polyester fleece

I'm looking for a fleece for camping but they're all polyester or recycled polyester. Does anyone know if any non polyester ones exist? I've tried typing in "cotton fleece", but still come up with recycled polyester!

try FatFace, M&S, J.Lewis, Surfdome, Joules - all have cotton fleece - hoodies, sweatshirts, sweat tops. Also, thickness varies and thin sweatshirts are jersey cotton material.

It would just be cotton sweatshirt/hoodie material rather than fleecey?

Fleece is soft winter fleecy polyester style top. Sweatshirts are usually 100% cotton and are not fleecy and suitable all year round..

Fleece is made of synthetic material only

It doesn't exist in natural materials

If you're wanting warm but natural fabrics then wool is the way to go.

I swear I've seen cotton fleece somewhere, but I can't remember where. I had a 100% cotton fleeced hoodie from Fat Face, but bought several years ago (and annoyingly, the fleecy surface was on the outside, plain flat cotton on the inside).

Woolvers has this www.woolovers.com/womens/jumpers/cotton-contrast-trim-fleece-22597 but limited sizes and only one colour, though there's a mens one too.

Oh wow, I didn't expect this much of a response! Thanks for all the help - the woolovers one looks good, but I feel a bit like I'm searching for something that doesn't exist. I might try and go for a flannel shirt with a long cardigan perhaps... Essentially I want to be fluffy and cosy but natural fibre because I have sensitive skin.

I'll try some of the websites suggested and post if I find the holy grail!

OK so don't laugh but Piccalilly makes some adult clothes including these cotton sherpa lined ponchos. Obviously it's a bit of a specific look with the prints they do... I have one for snuggling in at home and it's lovely but not exactly style & beauty 😆

The problem with cotton fleecy anything for camping is that it tends to get damp and stay damp. Are you going somewhere warm? Or are we talking ‘wet week in Wales’ type of camping?

Could you get away with thinner cotton as a mid layer and synthetic fleece on top?

A merino wool base layer or jumper may be more suitable. Dries faster, soft, breathable but sadly not cheap.

The Finisterre wool fleeces are lovely. Really good quality. I think Fjallraven also do wool ones.
