Hairdryer recommendations please.

I have thick, frizzy, menopausal hair and need a new hairdryer with a concentrator nozzle and a longish lead. My hair is short but takes ages to dry so I could do with something lightweight too. I can’t afford a Dyson or anything like that. Can anyone recommend a dryer to me please? (There are so many options out there). Many thanks!

Parlux - many hairdressers use them, very effective & last for years and years. The 3500 black one or the Alyon one.

Parlux (but they're quite heavy) or for cheaper and lighter Diva.

My Dyson was ok to begin with but now a bit meh and I want one of the old fashioned hairdresser ones too

Parlux, or alternatively for something cheaper and much lighter - babyliss 3q. I've had one for several years and it's going strong, performs well and is light to hold. I bought a dyson, hated it and went back to the 3q.

My parlux is knocking 15 years old now and still amazing. Never had a hairdryer last longer than a year or two before I got this one - they are absolutely worth the little bit extra

Solonomi · 01/07/2023 15:13

Parlux last forever & are the best I’ve ever used.

The shark ionic one is good and light and good for not damaging your hair. You can hunt around and get it cheaper. Its gone up in price atm.

I have a Parlux and when a friend was staying she used it and said she had never had so much hair .

Many thanks for all the suggestions. @HundredMilesAnHour I went for a Diva in the end as it suited my budget.
