Gradual fake tan?

I'm so pale that I'm blue in places.

I generally embrace my colouring but would like flesh-toned legs for summer.

Any recommendations please?

I've been using the Dove Dermaspa one for a few months now and really like it. I'm extremely pale but from reading the reviews I went for the Medium to Dark and its not too dark for me at all. One coat gives a nice subtle glow, 2 coats for a more noticeable colour. Really like how it fades away compared to a spray tan and skin feels nice and soft given that it's also a moisturiser

It actually changes the colour of your skin? The last few I've tried had zero effect

Yes its like a light fake tan, I'm very impressed!

I've started using the St Tropez wash off Instant Glow, it's so easy to use.

Recommend Bondi Sands gradual tan skin perfecting lotion gives a lovely gradual colour

Im very pale but I love the wonder water type tans for the face and the tanning wipes (eg from primark) for light colour

This 100% the one in the blue bottle the gradual tanning moisturiser.

I'm so pale I look ill and reflect the sun 😂 (part Celtic part Nordic) and the bondi sands is the only one that's ever made me look like a regular human rather than a satsuma.

I'm wearing it now after applying earlier! I just look like a normal health colour rather than tanned and I just use one layer a week and it fades so evenly I've never looked patchy.

I use a Garnier Natural Bronzer one - it's a clear liquid that comes out of the pump as a mousse and it gives a lovely colour and stays on really well - doesn't fade patchy or scaly or cling to dry bits either. I just apply it with my hands then thoroughly wash them afterwards and it doesn't stain

The Vita Liberata one is 10/10

Third the Bondi Sands gradual tan. Smell not too bad either. Starts off nice anyway, eventually becoming that biscuit smell that all fake tans become.

Wildlyboring · 02/07/2023 08:11

Another Bondi Sands vote.

weneedsomeluck · 02/07/2023 08:39

I'm a naturally blue person to. Fake tan terrifies me but I've been using Garnier summer skin and people thought my tan was natural. They only commented because I'm usually soooooo pale! Grin

Another vote for bondi sands! This plus a tanning mitt every few days and you can't go wrong. Jusy dispense ontonthe mitt and rub it in like a normal moisturiser, use the remnants on the mitt to swish over the back of your hands at the end. Wait 5 mins and get dressed.

I always use the garnier gradual moisturiser tan, never had any problems.

But ohhh the smell 🤮
It's a cocoa butter smell which I hate.
Now if it was coconut scented I might rebuy even though I play sport and have to wear cotton socks. When socks are removed so too is some of the "gradual" tan on the front of my feet, unevenly. i look like I have some strange skin infection.
It happens with ordinary fake tan too, not just the gradual tanner.

Vita Liberata til I die. No weird smell, no streaks, actually works
