Fringe too short AGAIN

It's happened again!
Went to hairdresser, asked for fringe trim which sits on my eye brow. She's cut it about 10ft from my eye brow!!

Okay, slight exaggeration, but oh my god, it looks awful!!

Urrghh.. avoiding mirrors for 2 weeks now! 😬

Are you raising your eyebrows when she is cutting it? This may be why it's short. When you relax them your fringe moves up lol

Show us a photo... please? 😁 You can block out your face. Have been there before OP; I felt like I walked around with my eyebrows permanently raised for two weeks. Agree that micro fringes can look really cool but yes, you do have to embrace the whole look really!

Like a PP i use sewing scissors to cut my own. I have bought professional scissors over the years, but Tesco scissors in the sewing section are a great all rounder 😁

My hairdresser always points this out to me! She also only trims when dry so that it doesn't spring up above my eyebrows.

Maybe try using Colour Wow Dreamcoat and extreme straightening to get the maximum length out of the fringe you have left.

I love a slightly too short fringe! My hairdresser never takes enough off, I’m always sitting there like “a wee bit more, just a bit more” 😂

This has happened to me, feel your pain. I looked like one of the guys in Dumb and Dumber. Red lipstick for 2 weeks, a few stripy tops. Pretend to be French 😁
And change hairdresser or tell them when you go back

I feel your pain. If you have straighteners this will add a tiny bit of length to your fringe.

My hairdresser is fine ( this was a different hairdresser in the same salon who did the fringe as my hd was busy ).

This was one of the reasons I grew my fringe out! I used to get so anxious when it was being cut.

I recall sweeping it off my face to the side made it look marginally better.

I do feel your pain OP, cutting it yourself going forward probably good call 😀
