Graduation dress

Can anyone give me a steer to good websites for a potential graduation dress for DSD? We've mined ASOS to its limits and need new ideas!

She is after a tea dress, green or purple (open to other colours but those are her favourites). All the ones she initially picked out had v necks but she will need enough material in the chest area to pin her hood to, as far as I can see from the photos from the gown hire place, so she doesn't want too low cut.

She's 5'10" and skinnymalinki-long-legs so could wear anything and look like a goddess but she's in a flat spin over this choice.

Website ideas or even frock suggestions if anyone can spare the time would be hugely welcomed.

Ideally a button top is best as the gown/sash has a button loop. I’d still have safety pins handy.

At ds's graduation 90% of the girls wore black dresses and the gown had velcro to hold the hood in place.

Strongly recommend a blouse and skirt, the hoods have a loop to attach to the button.

I would cautious of anything too lightweight or flimsy fabric as the gowns and hoods are quite heavy so they could pull. We had to wear black / dark skirts for r trousers and white blouses!

DD got a plain black fitted dress with a round neck. We were able to fix her gown with safety pins so it stayed in place. The gowns tend to have a life of their own and we needed to pin it at the shoulders as well to stop it falling backwards!

Thank you all - this is great to have as a start. When I graduated it was black skirt, white shirt and was so easy! This is a minefield 😂

My latest graduation dress was from Hell Bunny (model pic attached!). Had a button to loop a safety pin through for my hood and pockets 😂
