How do your curl your hair?

I have a Babyliss Curl Secret which I absolutely love. I have fine hair which is almost bust length and it does a fantastic job. However, my hairdresser keeps telling me that I should only be using it occasionally because it's not good for my hair.

I keep looking at the overnight rollers which you sleep in but I am rubbish with my hair and not sure if I could do it, and not sure if I would be able to sleep in them.

Do your curl your hair? How do you do it? Is there genuinely easy way to do this without doing any damage?

Heatless curls!

If you Google that, it'll literally come up with the little silk band things

You wrap your hair around them, sleep in it and then take it out in the morning and you have lovely bouncy curls with no heat damage!

Plenty of YouTube tutorials for how to use them too :)

I used straighteners to curl my long hair. I have thick course hair that could take the heat with plenty of protection and oil. I cut it all off last week to a bob and turns out my hair is naturally very wavy and only needs a scrunch and some diffusing and I have beachy waves with little effort.
