Okay colour for wedding

Is this dress an okay colour for a wedding? I've asked husband to check what colour bridal party are wearing but I'm worried it's too pale?

It's a lovely colour for anything but a wedding I think. The issue is that it is a block colour with no pattern to relieve it from a "bridal" or "bridesmaid" vibe.

I don't know, if you have nothing else suitable, maybe jazz it up with navy accessories and belt (if it would work) and a big navy hat or something.

But honestly, I wouldn't wear it to a wedding, nice and all as it is.

Thankyou yes I'm going to keep it as it's so pretty but won't wear it to the wedding. Gah it's so hard finding anything flattering 😫

Groom has said to husband there are no bridesmaids only little flower girls wearing pink so I'm not sure if that changes anything 🤔

But then I don't want to look like some crazy woman trying to look like a bridesmaid 😂 it's hard not knowing the couple at all

Honestly, save that lovely dress for something else, and grab something patterned or a slightly darker colour. You will be much more relaxed and won't worry about being mistaken for a Bridesmaid!

Well yes 😂 it's an old school friend of my husbands and neither of us has met the bride so I asked him to text the groom and check what the bridesmaids were wearing so I wouldn't clash, he replied saying no bridesmaids but if you want to avoid clashing with the flower girls they are wearing pink 😊

I am quite stupid though and look hideous in everything I've tried on 😫 sorry not having a good day !

No you're not stupid and honestly there is no way I could touch the original dress with my bulges and bits. You must have a great figure, so work from there.

When is the wedding? Leave it for a day or two and then have some ideas in your head about what you might like. Go for a mid range price, no need to spend a fortune, and no need to go cheapo either, you will look good, and feel amazing!

Others may be able to link you to styles and designs. I'm useless at that, but love looking at them, and wonder how people can find so many lovely things for people who post.

Thankyou I have a similar shape to the model in the dress BUT as not slim anymore since I had kids and not confident . Im 36 I can fit into stuff anywhere inbetween a 10 or a 14 but as im slightly hour glass if it fits my boobs it's too big for my waist and vice verca . It's a nightmare . I used to be so skinny and didn't even need to try anything on. Bloody kids 😂

I think it's fine. Yes don't wear plain white or ivory but it's neither. I don't think people in the real world care, just add a jacket or wrap

Oh and I'm 5 foot 4 so not tall

So it's arrived today and I tried it on and it looks really nice but definitely too light and see through! Also had a green one delivered that looks nice but the zip is broken 😂 I'm not having any luck
