Hi all, used Liz Earle hot cloth cleanser for a while, fancy a change and thinking of trying Tropics. Anyone used the Tropics stuff and how does it compare to Liz Earle? TIA

I used to use Liz Earle but switched to Superdrug own brand. I like the vitamin E one but the normal one is also nice.

The Superdrug one is fantastic, I'd say better than the Liz Earle for my skin as it isn't as perfumed.

I recently tried Liz Earle again and the C&P brought me up in hard cyst-like lumps around my chin which formed into really unsightly painful yellowheads (yes, I know, nice) so that has been very rapidly ditched.

I think I tried Tropic years ago but may revisit. I couldn't get on with the Superdrug Vitamin E as it dried my skin out - the face creams did the same - so might try the other one.

Is Tropics not an MLM?

LazyLeopard · 29/06/2023 10:47

Another one for the Superdrug own brand, I can't believe how good it makes my skin!

Also - the Aldi hot cloth cleanser is just as good as Liz Earle too.

@Comefromaway do you know anyone who does a version of the Liz Earle eyebright?

x

@NeedWineNow - I didn't get on with Superdrug Vitamin E, but love the Superdrug Naturally Radiant range x

I think it depends on your skin type as to which suits people best. Naturally Radiant is meant to be closer in formula to Liz Earle but personally Vit E suits my skin better.

Definitely worth trying though.

Sorry Lazy, it's not a product I've ever used.

LazyLeopard · 29/06/2023 11:30

Thanks anyway @Comefromaway x

I switched from LE to Tropic, as I noticed a difference when she sold the company. I think the ingredients changed and is not animal friendly as now sold i China.

I love Tropic and recommend. I buy directly from the website. Be aware that once opened it must be used, as no preservatives are used in Tropic.

Thanks for all the replies think I may try the Superdrug one as seems popular! Is this the one?
