Best hair dryer/styler for volume on very fine hair?

My hair is very fine and I blow dry it in sections with round brush and normal blow drier. I find it a hassle and time consuming in the mornings.

My teenage daughter asked for one for Christmas last year and I've used it but it doesn't work well on me. I think the 'bristles' are too far apart and the barrel too wide maybe.

Any recommendations on what you use if you have fine hair which dries and adds volume at the same time?

I'm also interested in any feedback here, my hair is fine, straight, and thin on top. I'm using the revlon one step at the moment after 70%drying hair with hair dryer. I'm not having great results with it, it can leave my hair looking styled but I'm not achieving volume.

Mine is fine but curly so I'm not much help!
Blow drying in opposite directions at the roots helps, and if you have silky soft roots, a volume spray to add a bit of grit
I spent so long over conditioning my curly hair before I realised it actually needed more grit and texture

Don’t use any ionic hairdryers - I recently discovered this - they soften & smooth the hair which leaves mine limp at the roots.

Don’t buy a Dyson airwrap. I fell in love with the idea of it, but it does very little for my fine hair
and was ££££. The dryer version seems better (weirdly!)

I agree re air wrap and Dyson dryer, but suspect you might have even more success with the Revlon round heated brush thing. You would still need a heat protectant and personally, I would rough-dry my hair first to avoid too much damage. I also have super-fine, (like cat hair) shoulder-length hair and am very tempted to buy one myself. There are lots of YouTube videos about them.

Revlon one step

Thanks everyone.

The revlon one is the one my daughter has, it doesn't really work for me.

Would babyliss big hair be any good? or too big a barrel?

You can get a Babyliss big hair petite with a smaller 32mm brush.
