Before I get jumped on for such an abominable request, this is for DD (13yo)
DC primary school is having a dress down day today, kids have all gone in their own clothes. High school is already closed for the summer so DD was with me on the school run. There was a girl about 10/11 in a pair of trousers that had a denim look but weren’t jeans (looked like linen maybe?). The trousers were flared at the bottom and made up of what looked like squares with designs in the centre of each square. None were overlapping, it didn’t look sewn together but rather one pair of trousers with a patchwork design if that makes sense?
DD is very into flared trousers and patchwork. Something about the 90s being cool again and how I’m too out of touch to understand despite having grown up in the 90s. She really really wants trousers similar to the ones she saw on this girl but searching patchwork denim trousers brings up loads of jeans and none in the style she’d like.
Anyone have any ideas at all on what I should search for? Or even what fashion outlets currently sell that kind of designs? I live in skinny jeans and vest tops and have shopped at H&M for years so DD is less than willing to take my advice in clothes or where to shop for them
