So, I have a balayage that's sort of growing out. Currently I'm dealing with a caramel/ash balayage with natural medium brown roots. Some lighter parts around the face, some darker throughout (some parts are starting to turn copper). My hairdresser did fill the hair with red before I had this done which was a very light blonde balayage before.
My original hair colour previously was a very deep, deep brown. I miss it incredibly.
If I were to dye over with a semi permanent dye would it be okay? Or do I need to fill with red/orange just in case, even with semi permanent?
I love brad Mondo and haven't seen him talk about what to do with semi permanent. I'm thinking of opting for a reddish brown and hoping I can skip that filling step.
I'm also wondering if it will ruin my existing colour? In case I get over it pretty quick 😆
