Long sleeve summer tops

I am desperate for some summer tops. But I must wear long sleeves - not even 3/4 length sleeves will do. I also need cotton or linen - nothing sweaty.

Plus I'm too old for crop tops and have a long torso. And I don't like super tight clothing.

I'm finding such things impossible to find. My usual go-tos have nothing. Any ideas oh wise, stylish people??

Rapanui only do really basic T-shirts in a long sleeve. And they are quite short, I'm afraid (or short on me).

Budget? Your size? Any preferred/disliked colours?

I saw some in Primark the other day. Cotton/loose.

I don't buy clothes very often so like something to last. I tend to pay in the £30-100 mark for a top. I only shop online.

I used to really like Oliver Bonas tops - light, flowery and floaty but with a shape so not just lots of material hanging on me. But the quality is now terrible and the last two have shrunk awfully in the wash.

I'm a 8/10 size with little shape. I like black, blue and green, occasionally orange and brighter colours as part of a mix.

Mango have long sleeved standard fit shirts to button up. Outsized shirts you can wear over vest tops are everywhere.

M and S, monsoon, fat face, white stuff all have a few smock top things with sleeves.

Kettlewell, seasalt, joules have long sleeved t-shirts, jersey tops.

Is that in store @continentallentil ?

Fat face for example has only two tops listed as long sleeve and they are both 3/4 sleeve.

White stuff has shirts and jumpers online but no long sleeve tops.

I'm sounding very awkward but I find jersey too heavy for summer - so Seasalt etc out too.

I don't think I can face M&S - the website is so awful. I might summons up the strength if it's good though...

Could you not just get shirts? Much more choice and can wear open over a vest top, if you like.

Linen or cotton shirts would be perfect.

I was going to say M&S they've got quite a few long sleeved, loose, linen tops. I'm not sure how stylish they are, but they fit the brief otherwise.

Or Sainsbury's have a few long sleeved linen shirts.

Lands end usually have cotton and linen shirts

Cotton Traders have loads

I can't have shirt buttons on the sleeves I'm afraid. So definitely tops needed not shirts.

Oh I've not heard of Cotton Traders. Will have a look.

I find the M&S app very user friendly, highly recommend it. You can filter by sleeve length, style etc.

I thought you'd cracked it @Whataretheodds ... but their tunic style tops (which I like) are all polyester!!!

Zara & H&M have loads of linen shirts at the moment.

Is that the white one with flowers @Hazelnuttella ? That would be great if in a darker colour...

There is a button but not on a tight cuff.
