Boobs. Large, medium or small?

BoobageAhoy · 23/06/2023 18:57

Well, I am sure they're not large!
I'm not sure I could just come right out and ask this in real life, so here we are.

I am interested in how mine appear, as it's something I've never considered before. I am a slight build and over 40, although my boobs haven't really changed much over time, they are now definitely less taught and the nipples are lower down.

I take a small in bra tops and when I wear a bra (rare) it is something like a 32B. I mostly wear bralets in S/M/L sizes so I know the sizing means very little in real terms.

Also, what size/shape would you deem passable to go braless?
Certainly not in a tight vest like I wear here, but more suitable, thicker clothes? I wear this vest here as it shows the clear outline of my chest. I do not go out and about like this Grin
Have added one bare pic, the nip is covered at the blue line.

I always wanted larger boobs and think my own are quite unattractive, but have accepted my lot, and am certainly not interested in surgery or shapewear at this point in my life, but would love to go braless more often. In winter its great under a vest and thick jumper, but not so much confident in summer.

(images added, will ask to delete soon, hope this is possible!)

IMHO. You are a medium, your breasts are fine, you have a good figure. No problem with going braless as you mention.

Persiana · 23/06/2023 19:05

I think you could go braless. I think yours are a perfect size to be honest! I bet you could wear interesting dresses and not have to worry about bra straps. I'm jealous, mine are bigger and I wear a minimiser bra to look more like yours!

MrsElsa · 23/06/2023 19:06

Well the trend at the moment is to go braless so 🤷‍♀️ in fact yesterday I saw someone with visible nip because she was wearing a sheer mesh top like it was the brit awards 1995 🤷‍♀️

No one is going to arrest you for it.

Just go for it. Worst case scenario you decide you don't like it and put a bra on.. 😁

LunaNorth · 23/06/2023 19:06

Cracking boobs, well done.

shatteredL · 23/06/2023 19:07

Jel. Deffo go braless.

Callipsi · 23/06/2023 19:07

Small, and I’m jealous. I’d love boobs like yours.

Rollerbird · 23/06/2023 19:08

Small to medium. Definitely go braless

AdamRyan · 23/06/2023 19:08

I am not a man despite having a male user name
Your boobs are amazing, I'm jealous. Small enough to not need a bra, big enough to be curvy. Not droopy. I'd say they are perfect.

waterlego · 23/06/2023 19:12

Mine are a bit smaller than yours but similarly placed on my chest, if that makes sense. I don’t go braless because I’m self conscious about how ‘low’ they are. That is probably just because I’ve seen too many images of pert young boobs higher up on the chest, so very much a ‘me’ problem rather than anyone else. I would encourage you to go braless and applaud you for it!

Cleethorpes · 23/06/2023 19:15

Small. I don't think you should go braless personally, but it's your opinion that counts!

BoobageAhoy · 23/06/2023 19:19

Thanks for the replies. I dont like the shape but i could never be arsed changing them or caring much.
My late mum had amazingly 'perfect' C cups up to being very elderly, not a sign of change from her early 20's. When she was in care towards the end of her life she got stuck in a bath and they had to send for a group of young men to help her out. She told the nurses to cover everything else up but leave her boobs flowing free, lol.

I love the braless trend, too, but definitely not in linen, or thin white tops, which I always wear in summer. Maybe with something loose and with a thicker fabric at the nip.

Some days they seem almost non existent and get lost in most strappy dresses then some days they appear more buoyant, they must go through moods Grin

I wish there was a product that could sort of 'hoist' the nipples up an inch!

Small. Obviously it depends on back size but I would count
A-DD as small
E - G medium
GG plus as big
With the disclaimer that a 26E could be small and a 42DD big

WhereAreWeNow · 23/06/2023 19:20

I'm not sure small, medium or large means much. I'm a 30e - seems big in some ways like standard size 8 bikini tops being way too small and blouses gaping on the bust. But seems really small compared to bustier friends.

I don't think you're a 32b BTW. I could be wrong but if you put your measurements into boob or bust I suspect you'll find you're a bigger cup size than a B.

pushnpull · 23/06/2023 19:31

I work with lingerie/used to fit (and make) bras, so hopefully my comments are useful.

Your breasts have dropped a little due to age, but they're still great. Building your pectoral muscles will be greatly beneficial.

Also, while you might wear a 32b, to my eye, you really are not. I would suggest trying a 30c or even a 28d. (You're similar to me - a full bosom on a small back/frame).

BoobageAhoy · 23/06/2023 19:39

will try them out, thanks!

Isitpaydayyet · 23/06/2023 19:50

I think its not just the size it's how your boobs sit in a top I've seen a small bust look droopy.

I'm really tiny and I wouldn't feel comfortable without my bra on in public. Agree with others you look fine though.

Cherryblossoms85 · 23/06/2023 19:55

I'm quite jealous. I'm a 32e and braless is out of the question, as are many bra styles. Your are nice, medium size.

NowNumber5 · 23/06/2023 19:59

Never thought I’d say this on a public forum but I think you have perfect boobs 👌🏻😂

Definitely can go braless.

BoobageAhoy · 23/06/2023 20:12

I so wish they were perfect, lol.
I doubt there is a perfect boob size/shape though, we are conditioned to desire a very narrow ideal, aren't we?

I've always been slim, but my boobs never were really firm or high. I had a traumatic pregnancy and loss (never tried again) in my mid twenties so have never breast fed.

To be honest i hate bras.
I will wear a very soft one in a small but probably wont ever buy a proper traditional bra again. I am weirdly sensitive and can't stomach the feel of anything fitted at my ribcage.
