Help me find comfortable yet nice sandals for work

Hi all,

I've just started a new job at the NHS as a secretary and I'm finding I'm walking a lot more - the hospital is much bigger than the tiny office I worked in for 15 years!

Im finding my usual summer shoes aren't cutting it - getting hip and knee aches after a long day. Tbf, I've always bought just fashion sandals I guess, nothing that offers support and I am starting to notice it now!

I really like these sandals from Croc although I usually hate crocs! But they are out of stock in my size everywhere unless I order from abroad and pay 26.99 shipping! They do offer other colours but I want just a plain black really.

Any suggestions for comfortable and supportive open toe sandals that look nice? I am not supposed to wear flip flops or sliders (office policy) so have to avoid them.

Thanks!!

I’d suggest Timberland and my favourite comfy summer sandals Fantasy which range from dead flat to higher wedge https://www.fantasy-sandals.gr/en/catalog/upbeat-code Suede footbed so really comfortable!

Thank you for these. Particularly like the Georgia ones from the fantasy range. Will give them a go!

I've got some new BOBS memory foam sketchers which are amazing. I wear them for my nhs office too

If you want real comfort, look for that style but with elastic straps over the feet.

Honestly, it's like wearing a pair of slippers.

You can’t go wrong with Crocs or Skechers for comfort, who cares what they look like!

Are you actually allowed open toe shoes? I’m nhs too and didn’t think we were.
