Makeup setting spray

Been using the urban decay all nighter setting spray for years

Today despite using it, my makeup literally slipped off within 3 hours. I get it's hot but 3 hours is ridiculous!

What makeup setting spray would you recommend? Ideally something that won't break me out or make my makeup look shiny as I already struggle with oily skin on my t-zone.

Watching. I use UD too but don't feel it's been working as good lately

Try Huda Resting Boss Face. It's like Hairspray on my face. It does work well. It doesn't work well with all my foundations though. My Charlotte Tilbury one still rubs off much to my annoyance. Keeps my maybeline one in place though.

Do not use the CT - it has a glow to it.

I use Milk after my foundation then when everything is done I do a final mist with Charlotte Tilbury. It doesn't move at all. I do use the milk primer first too.

I use the Charlotte tilbury airbrush one - it's amazing (I swapped from UD too!). I've got an oily t zone and if I use a pressed powder / translucent power then the spray it holds all day and doesn't go super oily.

I use it before makeup.

Setting spray
Primer

Thank you to the posters who reminded me about primer, just realised I haven't been wearing it lately for no reason at all, I just forgot!

Nyx matte setting spray is brilliant. I bought it after reading a review from a girl who'd been in a serious car crash and apparently her makeup was still perfectly in place the next day after being in hospital and crying etc. Can confirm it is very good. Never budged for me on hot sweaty days.

Littleguggi · 22/06/2023 21:53

The NYX matte one sounds ideal! I'll order that one I think!

Any recommendations for primer whilst on the topic?
