Really want one done. I won't lie I'm a bit of a whimp, how painful is it? 🙈

Not at all. Just don't watch! I made the mistake of looking and felt very faint 😂 but pain wise, not at all - couldn't have been bad as I had both

@ladydimitrescu Thankyou for replying! How was the healing process? See I'm 32 and only ever had my ears pierced, I have birthed a few babies though so need to give my head a wiggle im sure 😂

I've had both done at it was horrifically painful. Worth it though because they look mint

Mother87 · 20/06/2023 18:58

Is there a "benefit" - sorry, daft questionBlushI think they look amazing & despite having delivered babies, am also a wimp

WilkinsonM · 20/06/2023 19:01

The piercing itself was fine but it takes AGES to heal. I took mine out because I got fed up of waiting.

Spacecowboys · 20/06/2023 19:31

I didn’t find it very painful and they healed quickly. Go for it.

imnotsickbutimnotwell · 20/06/2023 19:35

I’ve had it done twice 10 years apart and both times it did hurt but it’s over quickly. Obviously go to a reputable body piercer with a good reputation. It takes several months to fully heal. I would say even a year plus to be fully healed.

I can confirm that I finally built up the courage! It bloody hurt. Love them tho!!

How bad are we talking? How are you coping with sleeping/showering?

I wanted mine doing early this year but I chickened out for several reasons. I don't do pain well at all and I've had lots of issues with my several ear piercings. Plus I want to be able to show them off a bit but at 37 my (small) boobs are not as perky as they once were so going braless isn't ideal.

notlucreziaborgia · 21/10/2023 11:26

I had both of mine done twice in my very early twenties (removed first set and later decided I wanted them done again. Also removed those). I didn’t find it bad at all tbh, but it’s very dependent on your individual pain threshold.

cakebytheoceon · 21/10/2023 13:52

@Pickingmyselfup I'm a whimp I won't lie. In all fairness it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.. the second one hurt more than the first but it's over so quickly. No regrets, I'm so happy I had them done. I had them done around 4 weeks ago and they're healing fine, not sore at all just need to be careful not to knock them! If you really want it done, do it! I am 34 for reference and only just built up the courage lol

Thanks. My piercings are always fine for the first few weeks then go down hill and take ages to heal! Can you wear a bra with them, like a soft sports bra or something? I think I'll wait until after Christmas then go for it. Need to get my 3rd lobes done ASAP so I'm not dealing with ears and nipples!!
