Hair thinning at crown!

My hair is thinning at my crown!

I always pull my hair back into a high ponytail but I’ve now got receding hairline at the front left and right, which I’m guessing is from having it pulled back every day.

I want to start wearing my hair down now to stop the thinning at the front but I’ve now got this thinning/bald patch at the crown of my head.

Can I fix this? Can the hair grow back, or thicken back out? I’m only in my mid 20’s 😟

Hair loss can be caused by immune system disorders. I think you should visit your GP to see if anything medically is going on in the first instance. I don't think high ponytails are the cause.
