I have been getting “lip flip” Botox for about 6 years, as when I smile normally my top lip completely curls away and looks nonexistent! My results have always looked very natural and just made me more confident with my smile. I recently had my DD so obviously couldn’t have Botox while pregnant so I’ve just had it for the first time in over a year, and it looks so so odd.
The area between my top lip and nose is swollen and a bit numb, it looks like I’ve had filler. When I smile I have a vertical line, almost like a ridge, between my lip and my nose. I messaged the practitioner who did my Botox and she said it’s nothing to worry about and it will wear off.
I’m just a bit worried as I am getting married in the autumn. I know you can’t do anything to reverse Botox and as I’ve never had a problem with it before, I’ve never had to worry about how long it takes to wear off! Has anyone had a similar experience or know if there’s anything I can do to help?
