Which sunscreen is least prone to causing spots?!

This question is mainly about body sunscreen, rather than facial sunscreen, though recommendations for either would be great!

I used Ultrasun the other day and it caused a breakout of spots on my front. Grateful for any recommendations for ones that are less likely to do that!

Just to add - I have a facial sunscreen that seems fairly good, but it’s too expensive to use on the rest of me!

I use the same sunscreen as I use on my face for my front and neck, as normal body sunscreen has a similar effect on me. I like the Avene facial sunscreens.

My DS has very sensitive skin but he’s ok with the Boots Soltan. And I like their face lotion as it doesn’t sting my eyes in water

@FruitBadger Looking at the Avene range, in SPF30 they have Rich Hydrating Cream, Light Hydrating Emulsion and Day Soothing Emulsion. Would you recommend any particular one?! Thanks!

I use biodermal 50+ which is pretty good never makes me break out

I highly recommend altruist sunscreen. Made by a skin cancer specialist. It's the only one my sunscreen sensitive ds doesn't react to. I use it too, including the face one and have oily breakout prone skin. Never had any issues with this one and it's very reasonably priced.

Oh that's interesting. I've never had spots from suncream, but using (last year's, but it is supposed to last 24 months after opening) Ultrasun tinted SPF 50, I had two lovely breakouts at once. I use other stuff as well, so it might not just be the Ultrasun. It'd be a shame because the tinted factor 50 was a holy grail find - lightly tanned face and protection at the same time!
OH has sensitive skin and recommends Aloe Up

I like the clear spray by Amber Solaire. I have milk bottle skin that is massively prone to breakouts (oh how I love a heatwave) and so far so good. Just don’t get it in an open cut or spot cos it stings like a bastard.

Altruist was recommended to me on here and I got no spots with it

I'd say a big factor is not removing it properly, how do you cleanse?

The only sunscreen I have found where I don't end up with a rash, is Boots Soltan sensitive sun allergy Protect. Comes in SPF 30 and 50.

There's quite a few online stockists including amazon.

Im prone to heat rash and use pizbuin allergy.
Its light and easily absorbed so doesnt clog pores
