I'll start by saying I'm probably overthinking, but I'm hopeless with clothes!
Most of the time I work from home, and when I go into the office it's casual and I wear jeans, trainers etc.
But in a couple of weeks we have a drinks reception thing in the evening with people from offices across the country. It's at a quite nice looking cocktail bar, and the dress code is no jeans or trainers. Because of it's location, I will be in the office all day beforehand. But not everyone in the office will be going to the drinks thing as it's just for a particular department.
Does this skirt look ok for this? I'd probably wear it with some wedges and a white t shirt? I'm a bit on the short side so it's a touch longer on me but not much.
I don't tend to dress up. Pre-covid I worked at a different company that was more formal and I wore blouses and pencil skirts. Since then with this new company and wfh, I've generally stuck to jeans. I don't want to look too casual for the evening thing, or too dressed up for the office.
