Help! Need an emergency hair fix

I’ve booked a very last minute beach trip and my greys are dreadful. Can anyone recommend a decent box dye that will cover this, I’d like a lighter, ashy colour and not to be orange or red tinted please?
Or should I try and get booked in a salon? Am hoping to keep costs down so would ideally like to do it myself if possible. Thanks

Personally I'd always get it done professionally ever since having done it myself I needed to check that the colour on the box wasn't "fuck me it's orange!"

I'd say, especially if you're going to be sitting in the sun and swimming - sorry to your bank account

Personally I'd go to a salon when you get home. Sun, sea and sand will bugger up your hair anyway. Wear it up on holiday. No one will notice or care. Go to the salon at the end of your holiday and they can sort it out.
