All my bras are suddenly uncomfortable!

I'm 49 and feel my breasts and chest area have suddenly changed size/shape, which is really annoying as I literally don't have one bra that feels comfortable any more. Has anyone else had this sudden change? I'm guessing it's related to the dreaded M word and is just yet another symptom of this life stage 😒

Obviously, I need to go and get fitted for some new ones, but can anyone recommend any brands that are super comfortable? I'm approx. a 34DD size, so should be able to find most bras in my size.

I am a bit older, but definitely went through this - and wish I had done something about it sooner. I finally went to Bravissimo for a fitting (other options are available!), and went from 34GG to a 36GG - instantly felt much better, and looked a lot better. I bought their own brand bra when in there (for work where I need to look reasonably put together), and then a softer version for more relaxing days. Fantasie is also a favourite (and now sold by M&S amongst others). Good luck.

I'm 58 so post menopausal but this happened to me
My guess is the rib cage drops or something I had to go up a back size, but in my case, cup size stayed the same

I've given up on underwire bras. Bought the sloggi zero feel and took the pads out. They are fabulous - Im a dd too.

Thank you for the suggestions!

M&S flexifit non wired. Bliss.

This happened to me at peri too: then after menopause reverted. Save yourself some money and don't buy all new bras; just a couple and some of those cheap bra extenders until you need to buy new ones.
