Graduation outfit help needed

Help!

DD24 needs a graduation outfit. Has to be plain black or white (can go white top, black bottom). Would prefer a dress. Not a mini. Doesn't want to look old or like a nun 😁. Can't wear polyester.

She is 5ft 11, size 14, in proportion.

Has looked in/online at New Look, River Island
Boohoo, Primark.

Budget under £70.

Any suggestions gratefully received.

Sorry - also tried Monsoon, (Coast & Oasis mainly too pricey).

Massimo Dutti have some nice ones in the sale, mostly within budget: https://www.massimodutti.com/gb/s/w-dresses-n1783

Polyester will be a problem with some of them though.

Something to remember is that graduation regalia is designed for men, so the hood often needs to be attached to a shirt button or it keeps slipping down your shoulders. Therefore, while not exciting, a white shirt and black skirt might be best combination. Or a dress that has buttons on the front.

Next usually have some, if you look at their more work wear dresses they have some decent black dresses.
