Rat Bags

Has anybody purchased a bag from Rat Island/Rat Bags. I saw them recommended by someone on here a few months back and was tempted to get one of the totes for a upcoming travel trip.

It sounds like they are made to order and come from Isles of Scilly so postage is quite steep, so apprehensive about the cost and ordering. Are they decent quality and long lasting?

Gosh there's a blast from the past. I must look up their current website.

I am happy to report that I have a Rat Bag which has just turned 34 years old and it still going strong! Bought from their shop in 1989.

I used to use it all the time. I have now moved onto a wheelie case but my kids still use it now and then. The canvas is still strong, the straps haven't frayed and the zip works perfectly.

I'd say they are definitely decent quality and long lasting
