Colour changing foundation.

I've seen some adverts for a white foundation that adapts to your skin colour.
I thought it would be good for a holiday when you catch the sun and your skin darkens
Has anyone used it?

Reviews on Amazon for the TML one (I’m guessing that’s the one you mean as it starts off white) are very mixed with some saying it doesn’t change colour at all. Which doesn’t surprise me, sounds far too good to be true that a foundation can change to match your skin colour

I wonder what it would do in my skin; freckles, rosacea and a pale white!

No they aren't inclusive enough. Basically the pigments are revealed as you apply it and you just stop when it gets to your shade. It can't "see" your skin.

That sounds good.

Yes however I always find it ends up too dark for me and people with deeper skin may find it doesn't go deep enough.

Don't No7 do one? Intelligent colour foundation. The last time I looked it had 3 shades.

Was going to say as @BusterGonad did, N7 did one years ago, and it was quite nice. I'm talking a good 15 years ago though so it may have been discontinued.

Lots of CC creams start white then just "adapt" and "improve" your own skin tone. Maybe look at those if you just want a very light summer coverage? (unless you are very pale in which case I've not found one yet that doesn't Tango me, apart from IT Cosmetics but that's a different kind of CC as it's already coloured in the tube and much fuller coverage)

I've checked, No7 still do it.
