Sizing annoyance

It's so annoying not to be a standard size. My feet are 5 and a half and I cant comfortably wear a 5 or a 6. My leg length is 30, most trousers come in 29 or 31 so I have to alter everything andI think I'm a size 15 ,14 and 16 dont seem to fit properly.
Anyone else?
I wish I was tich enough to have my clothes and shoes made.

True, but half size shoes are so expensive.

Standard sizing is notoriously daft, I don't think anyone is going to the shop and getting a perfect fit every single time. I bought 3 items of clothing at the weekend - ones a size 10 ( a dress), ones a size 6 (a shirt) and one was a size 4 (a jacket so oversized that I had to size down to a 4 and it's still oversized). i'm essentially a size 8 for the mostpart.

Fairly sure there are a few high street shops that do a 5.5 shoe sizing with no additional expense - clarks, m&s etc.

I'm a flat 5 in footwear but have varying sizes of shoes at home and it is just one of those things - sandals I tend to have to buy a size 4 or they're a bit big, trainers I tend to have to size up - all depends where you go and how their sizing is. In M&S for example, every time I try on a size 5 shoe in there it's too big, and a 4 is too small.

Look into finding a local tailor OP, I've never found it to be hugely expensive for basic alterations such as leg length or taking something off a waist.
