I once let my hair dry naturally in the sun when I was younger and tied it half up. A guy said to me "your hair reminds me of Gene Simmons". I didn't know who it was so didn't think anything of it.... until I googled him that night and it was this guy 😳🤣

I so want to look good in a hat, I try and avoid the sun on my face but I don't suit them. Still wear them though and just try and avoid my reflection!

I did try a visor as I thought that might work more with big hair but my DH (who is usually very complimentary) said it just didn't look right.

I can't get on with sunhats. They just make my head too hot and my forehead sweaty.

LOL excellent!! I remember being chuffed when I got heavy rimmed glasses at 16, and someone said I looked like Nama Mouskouri - googled her and nearly died. I think she’s chic now though!

When I was younger I used to do a paper round. One day I saw my shadow while riding my bike and was shocked at how much I looked like hagrid from Harry Potter 😳

I got new glasses and my husband said I looked like Olive from on the buses

When it's very warm at night I go to bed with wet hair- towel dried, combed and serum applied. But when I wake up it's like this. DH's face is a picture. "Big hair day?"

When my DS was little I had a cookbook by Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, my DS looked at the cover and said, 'this looks just like you mummy'. Yesterday, and he's 18 now so no excuses, I came home with my new glasses and asked him if he liked them, he told me I looked like Velma From Scooby Doo.

A couple of summers ago I bought a lovely mustard-coloured t-shirt dress. It was a bit too loose at the waist with what felt like a lot of excess fabric so I found a wide belt to go over it. I'm not usually a belt person but in the mirror it looked okay.

Later that day I caught sight of myself in a shop window and it turned out I'd spent the day cos-playing Miss Trunchbull.
