Flattering shorts for me ???

Hello -
I am desperately seeking shorts that aren’t super ugly on me !
i’m 52 -
5ft 4
reasonably decent legs
big belly - got paunch
I find shorts are too short - just cover butt
too long - knee length and emphasise dumpiness
too low on tummy / too high on tummy and emphasise paunch
where can I find mid thigh
mid rise
shorts ??

tapering to knee length is what I've seen on that height/shape

Sainsburys have some lovely tencil denim ones. Very flattering, I'll see if I can find a link.

Couldn't find them online but they're in store. They're tencel, nice and floaty so they skim over the tummy and mid thigh length, draw string waist. I bought them last year and I live on them on this weather.

I’m on my third summer with these (they do a slightly longer cut too) can’t fault them.

I love these, they flatter your legs but aren't tight on your tummy or waist.

I know it's a bit controversial on S&B at the moment, but Seasalt would probably fit the bill. Pricey, but they have an outlet shop on eBay that's worth keeping an eye on.

Next! Honestly! I’ve brought three pairs of exactly this type of short from them this summer already. Nice fabrics all about £20 nice colours etc

I bought these last year on the back of a post on here and they are lovely shorts, elasticated back, flat front, pockets and a good weight denim that doesn't crease - there's always Jigsaw discount codes to be found too.
