Smudge proof mascara - does such a thing actually exist?

I've tried so many!! From Lancôme to the super-cheap Wilco one - every single one smudges on me.

Any recommendations please.

Sometimes it's not the mascara but what you use around your eyes. If you use moisturiser and it's too rich it can make the eye area very moist and make your mascara run, also if you put cream on your eyelids it can melt down and cause the mascara to smudge. I don't suffer from smudging mascara, I have normal to dry skin and apply foundation around my eyes and use powder eyeshadow. I then use 2 coats of mascara one straight after the other. I don't wait for the first one dry. My favourites are Max Factor 2000 calorie, Benefit Roller lash mascara, Lancome teint idole mascara. I prefer the mascara with plastic brushes rather then thick and bristled.

Lancombe Hypnose waterproof is decent

Clinique waterproof is the only one that doesn't smudge for me (I have the same problem and have tried loads)

No7 stay perfect tubing mascara has been pretty much bombproof for me. I’ve only ever lost it when I’ve got absolutely soaked (think sideways rain blasting into me on the side of a hill in a gale) and even then it doesn’t smudge, it just sort of falls off when you wipe it.

Never found one ( or an eyeliner) that hasn't smudged down my face by the end of the day ( or sooner if its hot!)

Prime Lash is the best I’ve used. Only available online, I think.

Benefit roller lash

Another fan of tubing mascaras, I get mine from hourglass and I’m too scared to risk trying something else/cheaper because it works so well for me.

I found the no 7 stay perfect smudged, and didn't make my lashes look very long, when in fact they are very long and I often get asked if they're real.
I swear by the gold hourglass tubing mascara, it's not cheap but it does not budge and I've tried countless mascaras.

Tubing mascara. Blinc or No7 stay perfect one. However I think the Stay Perfect on May have made my eyelashes shorter so next time will go back to Blinc

If it’s due to greasiness then I agree with a tuning mascara. They only come off with warm water.

Snapscara by Maybelline is a good cheap one if you want to try to see if it works.

Watching with interest- I would love to find one that actually stays on all day. I've tried so many it's unreal. The only one I have ever had that didn't go anywhere was the bourjois volume clubbing one. Unfortunately it's discontinued, no idea why as it was the bomb of mascaras!

I only wear the Beauty Pie waterproof one now, I've tried loads from expensive to cheap, it's waterproof and smudge proof and needs a special remover. I used to love Covergirl Marathon Mascara, this is as good.

I bought the Maybeline Snapscara. I'm pleased with it. Brush is a bit odd but for that price I can put up with it

Only tubing mascaras don't smudge on me. Either the no 7 or the Clinique Lash power

Totally this one. I always ended up with panda eyes at the end of my shift, since I found no 7 tubing I haven't looked back. It's very satisfying to remove too.

I find that by the end of the day, there’s hardly any of the Clinique lash power left on me, it crumbles off throughout the day. Lancôme is better, just a little smudging but at least it looks like I’m still wearing mascara by hometime.
