Living proof

I don't usually like dry shampoo-the smell, the residue and it makes my hair static.

Is Living Proof better than the cheaper brands? Washing my hair every day isn't that big a deal because it is shortish and fine. However dry shampoo does give volume as well, does LP do the same? They have other products that might work better, none of it is cheap so I thought I'd see what others thought.

I’ve just bought living proof’s dry shampoo and also their volume and texture spray. I’m normally a batiste girl.

i find the dry shampoo slightly nicer than batiste - it seems finer and doesn’t leave any residue. My hair still feels like hair afterwards. Not super keen on the smell, but that is rather subjective. Not sure it is worth the extra cost versus batiste however, since I use it 2x per week.

The volume spray is a bit meh - it does add some texture and volume, but it doesn’t seem to last on me (hair is shoulder length, a bit thick but cut with layers so not too heavy or blunt). It is good if you are looking for subtle texture, and you don’t want it to feel sticky. But I think I prefer salt spray or Sebastian Drynamic (dry shampoo + texture). I think I will continue to test out the living proof stuff with different products and hairstyles, to see if there is a magic formula where they come into their own. But so far, I like them but don’t love them to repurchase.

Thank you for your replies. I think I'll give it a miss.
I currently use setting lotion which gives my hair a bit of volume, reduces the slipperyness, keeps the grease away and is cheap.
Always on the lookout for something better.

I got the Living Proof dry shampoo in the M&S Christmas beauty box and have since bought a full size one. I rate it - Kat Farmer on Instagram had a promo code.

I leave the mini size one in my locker at work, v handy as I cycle in and it sorts out tired helmet hair.

Another fan here of the dry shampoo. I also have sensitive eyes and this is the only dry shampoo I have tried that doesn't irritate them.

I have fine hair too and the dry shampoo does make it cleaner at the roots. I haven't tried any of their other products though.
